World Cup cricket lovers can now watch live matches on mobile phones, iPads, laptops through PTCL SmartTV app

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has launched a new SmartTV application that makes World Cup matches available on mobile phones, iPads and laptops. PTCL has is bringing advertisement free World Cup 2015 content for cricket lovers nationwide. PTCL customers can now access Cricket World Cup content on-the-go through the operator’s broadband and digital television services.

The SmartTV application includes ‘Time Shift TV’ and ‘Pause and Rewind’ in-app features. PTCL subscribers can access 150 digital quality TV channels to watch movies through video-on-demand and TV programs through TV-on-demand. The ‘Personal Video Recorder’ allow customers to keep their favourite content for personal library.

PTCL users can download the SmartTV app from Google Playstore for Android phones (Android Tabs coming soon) or iTunes for Apple iOS devices. The service is available for PKR 499 for the entire World Cup.
