MUMBAI: India’s Smartphone manufacturing company Xolo has added yet another budget Smartphone to its list of phones available for purchase. This time around, it’s called Xolo Q520s.

The new Smartphone has a price tag of Rs. 5,699. The phone packs a 4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, the phone has 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It does have a microSD card slot that takes up to 32 GB memory card.

Xolo Q520s is a dual-SIM Smartphone that supports 3G network. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, micro USB port and the usual tidbits of a budget Smartphone. One nice thing about the phone is that it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Although the latest version is Android 5.0 Lollipop, the KitKat version isn’t that old and is still a fresh version of Android that many phones are released with.

There is, however, little chance that the phone will receive update to Android Lollipop as manufacturers don’t usually release update to the low-end smartphones. So users of Xolo Q520s may have to stick with Android KitKat for its lifetime.
