NEW DELHI: Xolo has launched a special Liverpool FC edition that fans of the English football club can purchase in order to flaunt their support for the team. Priced at Rs 6299, this Android Lollipop handset bears the same hardware as that of the original device which was launched back in October to compete with Android One handsets.
The major differences can hence be spotted only on the exterior. The exquisite faux leather back panel of the Liverpool edition Xolo One has the iconic Liverbird logo printed on it. Additionally, the handset is also accompanied by an LFC-branded charger and a protective shell. An authenticity certificate, preloaded wallpapers and an LFC boot animation are some of the important additions.
When the One smartphone was launched, it featured the Android 4.4 KitKat OS but was promised a Lollipop update by its makers. To everyone’s surprise, it received the upgraded software way before the Google-powered Android One smartphones could get it. And now, the Liverpool FC edition of the device will come pre-installed with it.

As for the other specs, Xolo has infused it with a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 pixels display, a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M CPU and 1GB worth of RAM. The camera on its rear surface is a 5MP fixed focus unit, while the one on its front is a VGA snapper.
