0.3% WHT: KP business community to start protests from Sept 2

PESHAWAR: The business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also decided to start protests from September 2 against the imposition of 0.3 per cent withholding tax on banking transactions.

KP Anjuman-i-Tajiran President Haji Haleem Jan told the media that the traders have already displayed black banners inscribed with slogans against the imposition of tax in different areas of Peshawar city. He also announced schedule for shutter down strike and boycott of bank transactions.
