ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has to cancel English paper of class-V as it was leaked a day earlier, agitating teachers, students and their parents.
The high-ups of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISER) also confirmed that the paper was leaked a day ago. The PEC tried to print a new paper overnight but failed to pack and seal it properly, forcing them to cancel it.
Around 1.2 million children were supposed to take the examination in 6,000 examination halls across the province. The leakage of paper this time and passing all students in 5th class last year had also caused ire among teachers who demanded of the government to dissolve the PEC.
