10 country-wide operations: ANF seizes 4.3 tonnes of drugs worth Rs 4434 million

ISLAMABAD: ANF in 10 country-wide operations at various cities foiled several attempts to smuggle 4.3 tonnes of drugs worth Rs 4434 million in international market.

The seized drugs include 4.27 tonnes of charas, 17 kg of heroin and 24 kg of Opium. During the operations, ANF busted a notorious drug trafficking organization involved in smuggling of heroin to foreign destinations. ANF also arrested 12 persons involved in drug smuggling and confiscated 4 vehicles during operations.
