SIALKOT – Panic has gripped thousands of villagers as another person was hurt seriously by the mortar shells fired by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on border villages, Kulliyan, Chanoor and Pindi Panjoran, in the Bajwat Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.
Abdul Qadeer, 50, was sitting in his house when some mortar shells fired by Indian BSF hit his house and injured him seriously. Rescue-1122 officials shifted him to Combined Military Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical. Besides, two buffaloes were also injured while dozens of uninhabited houses were badly damaged in the fresh spell of Indian shelling.
The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) also resorted to unprovoked heavy mortar shelling on Sialkot border villages, Charwah, Joyian, Harpal, Anula, Akhnoor, Ruraki Awanan, Mairajkey, Kotli Khawaja, Dhamaala, Bajra Garhi, Umeranwali, Thathi Meendarwal, Rangor, Bhagiyari and others in Sialkot Working Boundary. The Chenab Rangers retaliated effectively in a befitting manner, silencing the Indian guns, the senior CR officials added.
