1000s of Wapda employees take to streets against proposed privatisation of Discos

LAHORE: Under the aegis of All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union CBA, thousands of Wapda employees protested and took out rallies across the country against proposed privatisation of distribution companies.

At Lahore, a meeting of electricity workers was held, which was addressed by the union representatives including Sajid Kazmi, Rana Akram, Muzuffel Mateen, Haji Abdul Lateef, Ch Maqsood Ahmed and Rana Shakoor.
