With the smiling portrait of the scientist and lush green wheat fields pictured in the background, the stamp symbolises food secure future and end to starvation through the development of agriculture with coordinated efforts and utilisation of innovative technologies. Their still exists a big gap between the research and its practical application by the farmers, which needed to be bridged to enhance the agriculture productivity, he said.
