102 cases pending with Customs Appellate Tribunal Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: As many as 102 customs related cases are pending with the Customs Appellate Tribunal, Islamabad, it is learnt.

According to official records of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, 60 cases are pending with Bench-I, headed by the tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti.

Whereas, 42 cases are pending with tribunal’s Bench-II, comprised of Member Judicial, M Maqsood ul Hassan and Member Technical, M Nasir Khan.

Sources privy to the developments disclosed that due to chairman’s occupations at other regional offices were the main reason for higher number of pending cases.
