LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Industry and Trade Sheikh Allauddin has said that 1,263-megawatt LNG power plant is being constructed near Trimmu barrage, which will be completed in 26 months.

According to a handout issued here on Saturday, he said in the first phase, 810-MW electricity would be produced in 14 months. He said credit for the power projects goes to Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) government, which took many initiatives to end power load-shedding in the country.
