13 Customs officers nominated for 23rd MCM Course

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has nominated 13 Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS-18 for 23rd Mid Career Management Course (MCMC), which is mandatory for promotion to next grade.

According to an FBR notification, the 23rd MCMC would be commenced from February 20, 2017 to May 05, 2017 at National Institute of Managements (NIMs) Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.

The FBR directed the nominated officers to intimate about their proceeding on training.

As per the revised promotion policy: “If the officer is nominated for the mandatory training and he declines to proceed on training for two consecutive training courses, then he/she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotion.”

Moreover, the Establishment Division has also intimated that “in case of any withdrawal of nomination either by the department or by the officer himself/herself, the officer concerned will be responsible, if it adversely effects his/her promotion prospects.”

The officers nominated for training are included:

NIM Karachi:

Ataullah Shabbir, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Gwadar.

Muhammad Tayyab, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Export, Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi.

Shakir Muhammad, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi.

Ghulam Hyder Mahesar, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports, Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi.

Moeen Afzal, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports, Customs House, Karachi.

NIM Lahore:

Nasreen Nawaz, Additional Director (OPS), Directorate of Training & Research (Customs), Lahore.

Ansir Anise, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Islamabad.

Saima Ayyaz, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Lahore.

Ali Zeb Khan, Deputy Director, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation-FBR, Lahore.

Muhammad Nauman Tashfeen, Deputy Director, Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad.

NIM Peshawar:

Syed Fawad Ali Shah, Second Secretary, FBR Islamabad.

Afnan Khan, Second Secretary, FBR Islamabad.

NIM Quetta:

Aftab Ullah Shah, Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Gwadar.
