1,327 property tax defaulters served notices in Multan to recover Rs 92.27 million

MULTAN: Multan Excise and Taxation Department has identified 1,327 property tax defaulters in the different areas of Multan. The Excise and Taxation Department has issued the property tax notices to the owners in the Multan city for the payment of property taxes due on them. Notices have been served from the Multan Excise and Taxation property tax division branch to the owners of commercial and domestic property for the payment of payable taxes on them.

Director General Excise and Taxation Jam Siraaj Ahmad have directed the Excise and Taxation Department to recover the property taxes from the property owners otherwise harsh action will be taken against them.

The Excise and Taxation Department has identified 1327 property tax defaulters during the inspection of property taxes in the last few days. Excise revealed during property tax campaign the tax amount from the property tax of 1327 is worth 92.27 million Rs.

Most of the identified places for the property taxes belong to posh areas of Multan City like Gulgasht Colony, Wapda town, Shah Rukne Alam, Abdali Road, Cantt and Dera Adda.
