13500 industrial units to get skilled manpower thru Tevta portal

FAISALABAD: About 13,500 industrial units registered with Skilled Labour Marketing Information System (SLMIS) web portal of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) were getting suitable, skilled manpower as per demand through this free service.

This was disclosed by Waheed Asghar Director SLMIS/placement cell of Tevta while talking to APP here on Monday. He said that 74400 skilled workers’ names were uploaded on this web portal. “Out on these 2756 belong to Faisalabad”, he said.
