$13b to be spent, 3,600MW add’l power to be produced through LNG to end crisis

ISLAMABAD – Official sources claimed that a sum of $13 billion will be spent on power generation through alternative sources and 3,600 megawatt additional electricity will be produced with LNG imported from Qatar.

Radio Pakistan quoting the official sources as saying several hydel, solar and wind energy projects have been launched for the purpose.
