14 out of 38 water filtration plants upgraded in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: As many as fourteen out of 38 water filtration plants in the federal capital have been upgraded.

According to the official statement, issued by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the up-gradation and maintenance work on filtration plants in the federal capital was in progress of which 14 have been upgraded while work on the remaining filtration plants would be completed till next week.

As per detail, Rs 16.67 million have been allocated for the project while survey for installing new filtration plants in the congested sectors of the city has also been completed so that maximum people would be able to drink clean and filtered water. Meanwhile, the CDA administration has directed to complete the task as soon as possible.
