FAISALABAD: Regional Transport Authority Secretary Muhammad Asif Naul impounded 14 vehicles and issued tickets to 46 others besides cancelling route permits of four vehicles for overcharging.
Talking to the media here, he said the government had made a substantial decrease in oil prices whereas transporters were also requested to reduce their fares but some elements did not pay heed to the directives.
On complaints, “I along with my team checked public ransports at various routes and impounded 14 vehicles, issued tickets to 46 others besides cancelling route permits of four vehicles for not reducing fares,” he said.
