15 Customs officers of BS-18 nominated for 20th MCM Course

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division of Federal Board of Revenue has nominated 15 Pakistan Customs service officers of BS-18 for 20th Mid Career Management Course (MCMC).

The 20th MCMC will be commencing from August 17, 2015 simultaneously at National Institutes of Management (NIM) Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta. The nominees of NIM Islamabad may contact Syed Tauqeer Hussain, Deputy Secretary (T-I), Establishment Division, Islamabad for exact date of commencing of course, however, the tentative date is September 15, 2015.

The nominated officers may report to NIMs Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta on August 15, 2015. The nominations are directed to submit the latest Annual Medical Examination Reports to the concerned institute. The nominated officers may intimate Board of their proceeding on training.

It is pertinent to mention that according to revised promotion policy, “if the officer is nominated for the mandatory training and he declines to proceed on training for two consecutive training courses, then he/she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotion.”

Moreover, the Establishment Division has also intimated that “In case of any withdrawal of nomination either by the department or by the officer himself/herself, the officer concerned will be responsible, if it adversely effects his/her promotion prospects.”
