16GB version of OnePlus One smartphone with 5.5-inch full HD display goes on sale in India for INR 18,999

NEW DELHI: OnePlus has introduced the 16GB version of the OnePlus One smartphone in the Indian marke priced at INR 18,999, which is INR 1K less than the price-tag of Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB version. Mi 4 is the main competitor for the OnePlus One at this price-tag.

OnePlus has noted that 16GB version will go on sale beginning February 24 in Silk White colour.

“Since the official launch event in New Delhi just two months ago, OnePlus India has seen an overwhelming response from the community. Living up to its ‘Never Settle’ mantra, OnePlus is working to bring wider range of products to the Indian market, starting first with the incredibly designed Silk White OnePlus One,” wrote OnePlus in a forum post.

OnePlus already retails the 64GB version of the One in India at INR 21,999. Both 64GB and 16GB OnePlus One are being offered exclusively via Amazon India and users will need an invite to purchase the smartphone. The same invite will work for both versions.

On the specifications front, OnePlus One comes with 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, and 3100 mAh battery.
