MULTAN: The Multan Development Authority (MDA) has declared 175 private housing schemes illegal and warned citizens against sale and purchase of plots in these schemes.
MDA Additional Director General Altaf Hussain Sario, while giving briefing, said that legal action was being taken against the illegal housing schemes, adding that there would be no permission for construction of houses there and buildings constructed in these schemes would be demolished.
He urged people to get information about the legal status of housing schemes from MDA website (WWW.mda.gov.pk). He said that cases would also be registered against the owners of these illegal housing schemes.
