Mexican exports in 2014 totaled $397.55 billion, up 4.6 percent from the previous year, while imports climbed 4.9 percent to $399.98 billion.
The value of oil exports fell 13.2 percent from 2013 levels to $42.98 billion, even as foreign sales of non-petroleum products climbed by 7.3 percent to $354.55 billion, according to the Inegi report.
The Aztec nation enjoyed a trade surplus of $254 million for the month of December, down 84.4 percent from $1.63 billion in the final month of 2013.
