20 Inland Revenue officers promoted to BS-21

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has promoted 20 Inland Revenue Service officers of BS-20 to BS-21 on regular basis in their group with immediate effect.

The promoted officers include Khawar Saeed Akhtar, Jehanzeb Mahmood, Rehmatullah Khan Wazir, Faheemul Haq Khan, Ahmed Saeed Siddiqui, Naushad Ali Khan, Masood Akhtar Shaheedi, Salim Raza Asif, Manzoor Hussain Shad, Hafiz Muhammad Ali Indhar, Muhammad Asif, Shaukat Mahmood, Nausheen Javaid Amjad, Shahid Zaman, Muhammad Muzaffar Khan Lashari, Iram Adnan, Mansoor Ahmad Bajwa, S Ashraf Ahmad Ali, Dr Manzoor Ahmed and Syed Ayaz Mahmood.

According to the notification, the officers already posted/working against BS-21 posts on OPS basis will actualise their promotions against the same. For actualisation of promotion of the remaining officers, the transfer/posting order will be issued separately, it added.

Meanwhile, Jehanzeb Mahmood, Faheemul Haq Khan and Muhammad Asif will actualise their promotions against the post of Accountant Member (BS-21) at respective Appellate Tribunals Inland Revenue. The officers if drawing special allowance prior to this notification will continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.
