$200m revenue: Pakistan likely to achieve 300,000 tons citrus export target

KARACHI: Research and Development of All Pakistan Fruit, Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchant Association (PFVA) Chairman Waheed Ahmed has claimed that the country is likely to achieve 0.3 million tones of citrus export target this year, earning foreign exchange of $200 million during the season.

He said that that out of 0.24 million tones, 0.1 million tones kinnow were exported to Russia. About 60,000 to 70,000 tones of kinnow would be exported during the next 30 to 40 days of this season will help in meeting the set target, he added.
