BARLIN: A German automobile manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the all-new C-Class Coupe will make its world debut at Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new two-door will join the sedan and Estate wagon bodies that have launched over the past year, most recently with the new C 63 hero models.
Mercedes design boss Gordon Wagener boasted that the new Coupe will be “sleeker and more beautiful” than the well-received new S-Class Coupe.
Wagener doubled down on that claim by promising the new C-Class Coupe will be “even better to drive than it looks”.
AMG boss Tobias Moers has likewise claimed the C 63-badged version of the new Coupe will be a “breakthrough” for the brand, although the tuning house remains quiet on the specifics.
But, with an impressive new BMW M4 on the scene and a new challenger in the form of the Lexus RC F, AMG will undoubtedly be pulling out all the stops to make the C 63 Coupe a showstopper.
TMR’s spy photos of the new C-Class Coupe reveal that, while the new two-door will draw on the larger S-Class Coupe for inspiration, a more traditional coupe profile will feature.
