2015 Chevrolet Colorado lightest pickup truck to hit market with 302hp 3.6 liter V6 engine

TOKYO: The new Chevrolet Colorado proves to be the truck to out for in this competitive segment. The Chevrolet Colorado has been boosted to be lightweight and fuel efficient.

Although the Chevrolet Colorado is not the smallest pickup truck in the market right now, the new pickup truck is definitely one of the lightest pickup trucks on the market right now. According to GM, the new Chevrolet Colorado only weights in at 4329lbs for the crew cab configuration model.

This is somewhat impressive since the Chevrolet is the smallest in the market. The smallest truck right now with have to be the Nissan Frontier which is heavier than the Colorado. The new Chevrolet Colorado also measured at 212.76inches in length, which is shorter than the Chevrolet Silverado.

The new Chevrolet Colorado is also powered by a 2.5 liter engine. There is also a higher range model that will be running in the 302hp 3.6 liter V6 engine.
