SYDNEY: Citroen has revealed its DS3 update, bringing lightly updated looks and a number of new safety extras. The new Citroen DS3 update will arrive in Australia in April.

Revealed early last year, the updated hatch’s key styling tweaks include updated lighting at both ends, new wheels and new interior trim options.

New engine options also debuted with the revised DS3, although details of the Australia range’s 2015 powertrains are still to be released.

Active at speeds below 31km/h, Active City Brake utilises a short-range laser sensor to determine if a collision is imminent, automatically applying the brakes.

“As our flagship marque, it is fitting that a DS badged vehicle is the first to receive the innovative Active City Brake technology,” Citroen Australia boss John Startari said today.

All DS3 models will also be equipped with a reversing camera and parking sensors for the 2015 model year.

The revised DS3 range will hit Australian showrooms in mid-April. Watch for TMR’s first-drive review to come in the week following April 14.
