The power comes through a 3.9-litre V8 twin turbo-charged gasoline engine; drive is to the rear wheels through a 7-speed F1 dual clutch transmission.

Designed by the Ferrari Style Centre, the 488GTB’s sculpture is completely new, and incorporates technologies to make it easy to be driven by non-professional drivers.

Present at the launch ceremony were Datuk Wira Haji Faisal Tan Sri Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman and Group CEO of Naza Group of Companies, and Dieter Knechtel, managing director of Ferrari Far East.

“Available at the introductory base price excluding duty and options of RM1, 068,800 and with the interest it has sparked worldwide, we are confident that the Ferrari 488GTB will turbocharge its way into the hearts of the Malaysian Ferraristi,” said David Hector Ratnaike, Senior Vice President 2 of Ferrari’s 4-Wheels Divisi
