SYDNEY: All new 2015 Peugeot 208 features have been unveiled before the 2015 Geneva Motor Show on March 3. The 2015 Peugeot 208 (facelift) claims to be the world’s most economical car with a covering distance of 100km in just 3 litres.  Peugeot 208 gets an updated design, a new GTi by Peugeot Sport model, and an all new GT Line.

There is also a 75bhp (5spd) and a 120bhp (6spd) version of that engine. And emissions range from 79g/km to 94g/km. Petrols includes a 1.0 litre 68bhp, a 1.2 litre 82bhp/110bhp, a 1.6 litre 165bhp and the top-performing 1.6 litre 208bhp.

It’s all part of a facelifted 208 range – there is a GT and special GTi – which will be shown at Geneva.

They have tweaked the looks front and back as well as upgrading the cabin. MirrorScreen functionality has been added to the touchscreen entertainment system; it now mimics your smartphone. The 7ins touch screen is standard from Level Two.

The GT and GTi follow later in the year, most likely on special order. The GT (3dr, 5dr) has 17ins diamante alloys, black door mirror shells, chrome window surrounds and exhaust tailpipe.

The high-performance GTi (by Peugeot Sport) has lower suspension, Brembo front brakes, limited-slip differential, wider tracks, 18ins wheels, bucket seats and red mats.
