TOKYO: The latest Honda Jazz has topped every sales chart ever since it was released in about a month ago. This cannot be helped as Honda is the prominent name in the automotive industry and the Jazz is cheap, powerful and economical for its value.

Despite bathing in the success of the small hatchback, Honda is still behind other carmakers. The Japanese brand landed in 11th place after calculating the numbers of cars sold in July. The biggest surprise of them all is that Mercedes-Benz has managed to outsell Honda.

We are not saying that Mercedes don’t deserve to sell well. It is just that their cars are all luxurious and pricey to own. Hence, we are expecting the obvious and that is cheaper cars have bigger volumes.

Apparently, we were wrong and Mercedes-Benz managed to come out on top of Honda. The credits belong to the all-new C-Class sedan and wagon, and also the CLA.
