WASHINGTON: The new report indicate that next-generation Kia Optima will feature a sharper design when it debut in the first quarter of this year.
Report by The Korean Car Blog, the second generation Kia Optima will premiere the Korean’s new design language for sedan models that will be also used by the next Kia Cadenza in 2016. Kia’s design team has told our source that the new sedan model won’t look like Kia Sorento and Sedona. The new Optima will continue to comes with a “tiger nose” radiator grille feature new headlights, while at the back body of the car, there will be larger taillights.
The new Kia Optima petrol variants will comes with aggressive & sporty air intakes in the front bumper, while the Kia Optima hybrid models will feature closed grille that opens when cooling is required. For both model, new alloy wheels & colors are also expected.
We know, that the next-generation Kia Optima interior will feature a three-spoke steering wheel, plenty of chrome trim, and a new infotainment system with an 8-inch display, the model will get a new leather-wrapped dashboard.
2016 Kia Optima is expected to debut at the New York Auto Show in April this year.
