2016 Toyota Camry, Corolla expect to arrive in mid-August 2015, at dealerships

TOKYO: With new trim levels and attractive styling, the Special Edition 2016 Toyota Camry and Corolla are expected to arrive in mid-August 2015, at dealerships.

America’s best-selling car the Toyota Camry and the world’s best-selling car of all-time, the Corolla, will get some added features that will be sure to entice buyers when they go on sale this year.

Based off the Camry SE, the 2016 Special Edition model Camry will start at (MRSP)$25,715, and being based of the Corolla S the Special Edition Toyota Corolla will be priced at (MRSP)$20,635

Both models will see limited production, with the Camry only be seeing 12,000 units being produced between August 2015 to January 2016. The Corolla will be limited to a lower production limit of 8,000 manufactured cars in the same time frame.

According to Toyota, here are some noteworthy features that will be included as standard in both models

Camry Special Edition:

Unique 18-inch alloy wheels with machined face contrasted with gloss black painted accents and P225/45R18 tires

Power tilt/slide moon roof

Smoked tail lamp treatment

Blue Streak Metallic and Blizzard Pearl exterior colors

Sport fabric seats with blue inserts and blue contrast stitching; 8-way power-adjusted driver’s seat with power lumbar support; 4-way adjustable front passenger seat

Dark Blue interior trim

Unique meter cluster with TFT Multi-Information Display

Standard Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation

Standard Smart Key System on front doors and trunk with Push Button Start

Standard Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging

Unique Special Edition badge and Camry Special Edition logo floor mats

Corolla Special Edition

Unique 17-inch alloy wheels with gloss black finish

Smart Key System with pushbutton start

Black mixed media seats with red contrast stitching

Black interior with red contrast stitching on steering wheel, shift boot and center armrest

Red accented dash panel and door trim

Three exterior colors: exclusive Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White
