22 Customs officers removed from services after investigation

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed major penalty, including removal from service and compulsory retirement, upon 22 customs officers after investigation reports found them guilty of inefficiency and misconduct.

The officers are posted at various model customs collectorates (MCCs) and their cases were pending for 2-3 years.

Amjad Iqbal Cheema, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Faisalabad, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Mansoor Alam, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Faisalabad, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency. Fazal-e-Subhan, MCC Peshawar, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Muhammad Rafiq, Deputy Superintendent, BS-16, MCC Peshawar, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Shireen Subhan, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Peshawar, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Aziz-Ur-Rehman, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Peshawar, removal from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Waqar Ahmed Cheema, Superintendent, BS-17, MCC Sialkot, removal from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Asad Mehmood, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Sialkot, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Shafqat-Ul-Zaman, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Sialkot, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Syed Akmal Hussain Shah, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Sialkot, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Muhammad Javed, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Sialkot, removal from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Mirza Muhammad Imran Baig, Inspector, BS-16, MCC Sialkot, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.

Qaiser Khan Loni, Principal Appraiser, BS-17, MCC Quetta, compulsory retirement from service for misconduct and inefficiency.
