KHAIRPUR: New gas reserves have been discovered in Khairpur, Sindh.
The Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), in a press release, stated that the gas reserve was discovered after drilling 4468 meter deep underground.
According to initial reports, around 23.5 MMFC gas was expected to be produced from the well on a daily basis once it was made functional, it said. Experts hope that the discovery will help meet gas demand to a considerable extent.
