2400 kg unhygienic meat seized, one arrested

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Food Authority seized 2400 kg unhygienic meat from a slaughter house and arrested a butcher.

Giving details, Director PFA, Bilal Abro said that water filled and rotten meat was recovered from a slaughter house in the area of Chohan Road besides recovering fake stamps, receipts from the spot.

Abro said the owner of the slaughter house managed to escape from the scene, however, a case has been registered against him.
