Rawalpindi – After the first fleet of 17 Metro buses already arrived at the specially built bus depot, the second consignment of 20 buses reached the federal capital.
The second fleet of 20 buses have reached the federal capital through GT Road. All the buses were parked in the specially built depot in Islamabad.
An official said that 13 more buses would reach on Tuesday whereas 18 on Wednesday in Islamabad. A total of 60 buses would be imported from China for 24.4-km long Metro Bus Service project to provide best quality travelling facilities for the passengers in twin the cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
For the Metro buses, some 150 drivers are being trained in Islamabad. The MBS project is expected to be completed by the end of February. The MBS is being constructed from Saddar to Pak Secretariat via Faizabad and IJ Principal Road.
