NEW YORK: It is in the air that, the 2nd gen Motorola Moto G has been spotted with running Android 5.1 and according to a report from Techdroider, “the build seems to be of 2nd Feb and may be Motorola is still testing it.”
Google released Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update last month with some bug fixes which were left out in Lollipop 5.0. Basically Android Lollipop 5.0 is an upgraded version of KitKat 4.4. This updates comes with new material design which offers a bold, colourful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system. It allows the users to see the notification in the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen.
Moreover, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar. This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
