30 upper division clerks to be promoted soon

LAHORE: The Departmental Promotion Committee of Regional Tax Office (RTO) is likely to be convened shortly for the promotion of 30 upper division clerks (UDCs) to supervisor.

Customs Today learnt that Inland Revenue Commissioner Mehmood Aslam has informed all 30 UDCs through a notification to submit their record, including ACR dossiers and assets declaration to the committee.

They have also been asked to submit a clearance certificate that they have not been involved in crime and corruption.

Authorities said that the selected UDCs must send their record and certificates until November 26.

The selected UDCs had joined the department during 1982-1994 and are the senior-most officers.
