LAHORE: In its 31st meeting of the fiscal year 2014-2015, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved development projects of different sectors worth Rs6 billion.
The PDWP meeting held with Punjab Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Irfan Elahi in the chair approved three uplift projects.
According to the minutes of the meeting, the PDWP approved development schemes include District Based Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey (MICS) Punjab 2014 (PC-II) to be carried with Rs129 million, replacement of outlived, deeper and inadequate water supply lines with HDPE Pipes, Lahore, (Gastro Phase-II) (Revised) at a cost of Rs1 billion and Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project–II (PMSIP-II) (Concept Clearance Paper) worth Rs4 billion.
Punjab P&D Secretary Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, the board’s members, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
