39 Inland Revenue officers promoted to BS-20

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has promoted 39 Inland Revenue Service officers of BS-19 to BS-20 on regular basis in their group with immediate effect.

The promoted officers include Muhammad Umar Farooq, Naheed Azhar, Dr Muhammad Naeem, Ch Muhammad Tarique, Sardar Ali Khawaja, Anwar ul Haq, Muhammad Azam Sheikh, Shamsuddin Qazi, Karamatullah Khan Chaudhry, Abdul Wahid Uqaily, Jahangir Ahmad, Khalid Mahmood Lodhi, Dr Muhammad Sarmad Qureshi, Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi, Tehmina Aamer, Qasim Raza Khan, Muhammad Tahir, Mohammad Farooq Azam Memon, Laila Ghafoor, Imtiaz Ali Solangi, Nasir Khan, Fouzia Fakhar, Muhammad Irfan Raza, Abid Mehmood, Aqeel Ahmed Siddiqui, Muhammad Tariq Arbab, Shah Khan, Asem Iftikhar, Shazia Abid, Muhammad Nasir Khan Ghouri, Naveed Ahmad Nawab, Najeeb Ahmad Memon, Zubair Bilal, Shazia Memon, Amjad Farooq, Javaid Iqbal, Muhammad Azhar Ansari, Sahibzada Abdul Mateen and  Zafar Iqbal Khan.

According to the notification, the officers already posted/working against BS-20 posts on OPS basis will actualise their promotions against the same. For actualisation of promotion of the remaining officers, the transfer/posting order will be issued separately, it added.

Meanwhile, Naheed Azhar, Khalid Mahmood Lodhi and Javaid Iqbal will actualise their promotions from the date they return from deputation and join FBR. The officers if drawing special allowance prior to this notification will continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.
