4 development schemes of over Rs 2.5 billion approved

LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Friday approved four development schemes of Rs 2525.451 million.

The schemes were approved in the 21st meeting of the PDWP of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

The schemes included Construction of Overhead Bridge at Depalpur Chowk District Okara at the cost of Rs 740.000 million, Rehabilitation/Widening & Improvement of Bhera Bhalwal Road length 25.22 km, District Sargodha at the cost of Rs 763.725 million, Construction of Arifwala Bye Pass, length=11.00 km, District Pakpattan at the cost of Rs 526.710 million and Construction of 20ft wide carpet Road from Gojra to Tahli Adda via Bosal Masoor, Bosal Sukha, Nakkwal, Chak Alam, Syed, Lakha, Khaddar Gharbi and Link Pull Muhammad Panah to Nakkewal Chowk(Phase-I) L=16 KM District Mandi Bahauddin at the cost of Rs 495.016 million.
