LAHORE: Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 4171.669 million.
These schemes were approved in the 70th meeting of PDWP of current fiscal year presided over by Punjab P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
All Members of the Planning and Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: Construction of Sheikh Zayed Medical Complex (Phase-II/A), R.Y. Khan (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1520.881 million, Provision of Additional Class Rooms in Schools in Tehsils i.e. Bahawalpur, Ahmedpur East, Khairpur Tamewali, Hasilpur, Bahawalnagar & Chishtian (Phase-I) (Amended) at the cost of Rs. 2630.788 million, Construction of Multipurpose Parking Plaza with International Level Hostel for Players, Five Star Hotel and Museum in Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore (PPP Mode_ (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 10.000 million and Establishment of Sports Complex at Multan (PPP Mode) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 10 million.
