KARACHI: Due to limited gas supply from Bhit and Naimat Basal fields, the Sui Southern Gas Company is facing 40 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) shortfall.

According to the company’s statement, all the supplies of SSGC have also been affected and the utility is receiving calls from people in Karachi and interior Sindh, complaining about low gas pressure. “SSGC’s management is putting in all efforts to improve the supply situation and has taken immediate and effective steps to improve the gas pressure,” it said.
