43% growth: Habib Metropolitan Bank earns Rs4.93b profit

KARACHI: Habib Metropolitan Bank (HMB) has reported a profit-after-tax of Rs4.93 billion and profit-before-tax of Rs7.31 billion for the year 2014, registering a year-on-year growth of 43 per cent.

According to official statement, the EPS increased by 39.47 percent and marked at Rs4.70 at the end of 2014. The bank’s total assets augmented by 27.6 percent compared to December 2013, and in doing so amounted to Rs397.3 billion on December 31, 2014.
