ISLAMABAD: The concerned authority in Federal Board of Revenue has approved the requests of 49 Pakistan Customs Service and Inland Revenue Service officers to apply and compete for Australia Awards Scholarship 2018.
According to the notification issued by Secretary (HRD) Tariq Iqbal on Thursday, this NOC may not be considered as sparability certificate and Management Wing of FBR may be requested for NOC upon final selection from the concerned institute. Moreover, neither any funds will be provided by the government nor the participant will be allowed to claim any funds from the government for the programme, it said, adding that the provisions of HRM Circular No 1 of 2016 shall apply.
