LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has ordered National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) to submit a reply on a petition challenging award of a hardware material supply contract to a Turkish company by April 30.
The NTDC has been accused of violating rules in awarding of the contract to SA-RA, the Turkish company. The NTDC had opened a tender for procurement of hardware material, accessories and dampers, wire and other items for 500kV transmission line from Neelum-Jhelum Hydro Project to Domeli. Five companies from different countries participated in the bidding process.
Through its local agent in Pakistan, M/s Mosdorfer of Austria, one of the participants, challenged the contract awarded to SA-RA.
