5,240 cases reported from Karachi, 710 from entire Sindh: 64 dengue patients died in 2 years

KARACHI: Sindh Health Minister Mahtab Dahar has said that around 64 people in the province have died of dengue fever during the past two years.

The minister, responding to a query put forward by MPA Heer Soho during the session of provincial assembly, said that 5,240 cases had been reported from Karachi alone while 710 had been reported from other parts of the province. He maintained that there were 20 more cases of people who had come into the province after being infected.
