58,000 taxpayers file tax returns in Gujranwala so far

SIALKOT: As many as 58,000 taxpayers have submitted their annual tax returns to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Gujranwala Division.

According to the senior FBR officials, 31,000 taxpayers have deposited their tax returns at Gujranwala Regional Tax Office (RTO) and 27,000 at Sialkot office.

As the FBR had already fixed January 31, 2016 as the final date for the online submission of tax returns, he added that more than 10,000 taxpayers would deposit their annual tax returns till this final date.

It may be mentioned here that the FBR has issued special notices to 138,000 taxpayers, asking them to ensure the submission of their annual tax returns before the deadline.
