64 oil, gas reservoirs found in 5 years

ISLAMABAD: The state-owned company has made 64 oil and gas discoveries during the last five years.

Official sources said that drilling is being carried out at number of places during the same time span mentioned above to explore more oil and gas reserves in the country. They said drilling has been done so far in Badin, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Barkhan, Bolan, Chakwal, D.G. Khan, Dadu, Dera Bugti, Ghotki, Hangu, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Jamshoro, Jhang, Jhelum, Kamber/Shadadkot, Karak, Kashmore, Khairpur, Kohat, Mastung, Mianwali, Mitiari, Nausharo Feroz, Offshore, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sanghar, Sukkur, Tando Allah Yar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Thatta, Umerkot and Vehari.
