KARACHI: With the aim to update customers with all relevant and latest information, the State Bank of Pakistan (SP) has launched its official twitter account.
SBP Governor Ashraf Mahmood Wathra inaugurated the account by sending the first ever message as ‘SBP is pleased to join the social media on its 67th anniversary.’ SBP was inaugurated on July 1, 1948 by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
In the inauguration ceremony of twitter account the Deputy Governor (Policy) Riaz Riazuddin and other senior officials were also present. This Twitter account is primarily to inform about any information dissemination through SBP’s website.
