6th annual Halal Conference, Expo inaugurated

LAHORE: The sixth International Halal Conference and Expo 2017 will be inaugurated on April 10 at Flettis Hotel here. The prime objective of the event is to showcase the livestock and allied industries potential among the international community to increase the Halal trade of Pakistan.

The Punjab Halal Development Agency (PHDA) has facilitated more than 40 international potential buyers and exhibitors who have confirmed their participation and observe the livestock and Halal value chain of the country.

The PHDA has also planned field visits of the foreigners to the livestock farms, abattoirs and allied industries to highlight the latent of the industry.

The PHDA has also planned to conduct cooking completion among colleges girls with the title “Tastes of Pakistan”.

Halal industry experts form Kazikstan, China, Malaysia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia and others have confirmed their participation in the event.
